Sanghavi (born Kavya Ramesh) is an Indian actress and a model known for her work predominantly in Telugu-language and Tamil-language films.[1] She was one of the leading actresses in South Indian cinema from to In a career spanning 15 years, she has starred in over eighty feature films - 38 in Telugu, 35 films in Tamil, eight in Kannada, two in Malayalam and one film in Hindi.[1][2]
Early life
Sanghavi was born in Mysore, Karnataka.
Her father Dr. D. A. Ramesh was an ENT Professor at Mysore Medical College and her mother Ranjana is Kannada film actress Aarathi's elder sister's daughter.[3] Sanghavi studied at Marimallappa High School. In , she made her debut with the Tamil filmAmaravathi oppositeAjith Kumar.[1][2]

Sanghavi is an avid dancer and a badminton player.
She married Venkatesh, an IT professional, on 3 February at the Taj Vivanta, Bengaluru.[4][3] The couple have a daughter named Chanvi who was born in January

Her birth name was Kavya Ramesh, but she changed it to Sanghavi upon the request of Chola Ponurangam, who was the producer of her first film. She did her schooling from Marimalappa School and after her schooling decided to try modeling, inspired from the famous Kannada actress Arathi, who was a very close family relative of hers.Her father, an ENT professor at the Mysore Medical College, performed corrective surgery. Sanghavi finally returned to the silver screen in with a Kolanji, film written by Naveen.
